All Abilities

We understand that not everybody is able to walk or cycle, and there are those with different mobility needs. We always endeavour to make adjustments to our activities that will enable people to take part regardless of their ability: we may be able to arrange the use of adapted cycles for cycling lessons, and many wheelchairs and adaptive equipment are mechanically similar to bicycles so can still be catered for during our workshop sessions. If you have a particular need and would like to join one of our activities, please contact us to discuss different options.

In addition, there are a number of other organisations operating in the local area that cater specifically for those with different abilities:

Experience Community is a not-for-profit Community Interest Company that helps disabled people access the outdoors through a range of inclusive walking, cycling, conservation and arts activities. They run weekly sessions at Leeds Urban Bike Park where you can trial different adaptive equipment and also operate an Active Travel Mobile Hub, which runs demo sessions in various locations across West Yorkshire.

Bradford Disability Sport & Leisure is a charity offering a variety of sports clubs and activities especially for people with a disability across the Bradford district. Activities available include swimming, basketball, cricket, karate, athletics, cycling and more.
